After graduating from Boğaziçi University Industrial Engineering Department, Yılmaz Arısoy began his career at Koç Holding A.Ş. Finance Group in 1997. In 1999, he moved to the United States with Koç Holding scholarship and received his MBA degree from Cornell University and also had corporate finance experience at Lehman Brothers in New York. Later on, he had managerial duties in Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank in New York and in Retail Banking and Credit Cards at Capital One Bank in Virginia.
In 2006 he returned to Turkey and contributed to the integration process of Koçbank and Yapı Kredi Bank and worked as the Head of MIS and Business Planning Group at Yapı Kredi Bank. In 2010, he was nominated for expatriate duty within the Central Eastern Europe Division of UniCredit Group, shareholder of Yapı Kredi, and served as the Chief Financial Officer at UniCredit Bank Slovenia.
Mr. Arısoy joined Yapı Kredi Yatırım in 2014 and has been working as an Assistant General Manager of Finance and Operations, with CFO & COO responsibilities.
He is a member of Investment Company Executives Society, Investment Professionals Society, Fenerbahçe Sports Club, and 1907 Fenerbahçe Society. He also lectured Capital Markets at MEF University. He is married and has a son.
