Bora Oruç graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Economics in 1999. Same year he started working for the Capital Markets Board of Turkey, served in various departments, and held different positions. Since April 2014 he has been working as Vice Chairman at the CMB. His areas of responsibility cover the regulation and supervision of public companies, financial instruments issuances, investment firms and market infrastructures. He is a member of G20 Financial Stability Board Standing Committee on Regulatory Cooperation. Mr. Oruç earned his MBA from Cambridge University.
