Adem Duman was born in 1971 and studied Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University, followed by a masters degree in business administration at the same university. Duman has over 20 years of experience in the finance sector. He started his banking career in 1996 in Interbank as a Management Trainee. Then, between 2000-2005, he worked as Corporate Banking Group Head at BNP AK Dresdner Bank A.Ş. After Turkish Economy Bank (TEB) joined BNP Paribas Group, Duman had different assignments at TEB’s Corporate Banking and Corporate and Investment Banking groups between 2005-2014: Foreign Companies Desk manager and later Director, Structured Finance and BNP Paribas Synergy Director, and Large Corporate Clients Director.
In 2015, he joined Vakıf Emeklilik A.Ş. and worked as Executive Vice President in charge of Finance, Marketing and Human Resources functions. He has been General Manager of Turkcell Finansman A.Ş since August 2018, and Chairman of the Association of Financial Institutions of Turkey, since September 2018. Married, with two children.
